About Shopotle

Shopotle makes vintage travel art for the places people are attached to.

It started with a simple observation: most city merchandise is bad. A skyline traced in clip-art, a state outline, a font nobody chose. The places themselves deserve better — so we draw them properly.

How the work is made

Every city begins as an illustration, not a template. Landmarks are drawn individually and assembled into a composition, the way a 1940s travel agency would have commissioned a poster. Then it becomes a set: a travel poster, an illustrated city map with a legend, wallpapers for your phone and desktop, and a printable travel guide. The same artwork goes onto garment-dyed tees, so what you hang on the wall and what you wear match.

Two ways to buy

Digital downloads arrive in your inbox within a minute of checkout. You print them at home or at a local print shop, at whatever size suits your wall, as many times as you like. Nothing ships and nothing can get lost.

Apparel is printed to order in the United States. Nothing sits in a warehouse, nothing is overproduced, and there is no leftover stock to discount at the end of a season.
